L’Etoile 6
L’Etoile 6
1991 HOLSTEINER GELDING, LIGORETT-ABECE/CASTRO
“Struppie” is a German word meaning “fuzzy”; “L’Etoile” is French for “the star.” Both are accurate for this 17 h Holsteiner gelding by Ligorett, the next big thing in the American Young Rider division.
With wins at almost every Young Rider show they entered, including a Gold Medal at the NAYRC and a nearly 74% win at Dressage At Devon, Lauren and Struppie dominated the Young Rider scene in 2005.
Struppie has moved to New Haven, CT, with his new owner, Young Rider Courtney Massie. They will ride for Region 8 in 2006. Congratulations and good luck, Courtney!
